Close photo of bare feet resting on a gold ornate pedestal during a padapuja. The feet belong to a figure wearing orange-saffron robes, and a long garland of red and pink roses with white roses hangs from the top of the frame across the legs. Below the feet a heap of gold beaded garlands and scattered white and pink petals lies on the gold-embossed tray. At left, a hand with a wooden rudraksha bracelet and a white sleeve gestures toward the pedestal. Only the feet and hand are visible. A small framed portrait sits at the lower left among the gold beads. The figure's face is not visible.2010-09-02 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a pada-puja, a foot-worship ritual. A person in white clothing holds a silver vessel and presses a hand against bare feet resting on a gold ornate platform. The person wears orange-saffron cloth draped over the legs, visible from the knees down. Below the feet lies a pile of gold-coloured rudraksha-style beads or ceremonial gold ornaments mixed with white flower petals and a few pink and green petals. The gold carved platform and surround have intricate embossed floral patterns. A small pale round object sits at the centre beneath the feet. No face is visible, so identity cannot be determined from the image; the scene suggests a ceremonial satsang or puja setting, with the wearer's saffron clothing and the golden throne-like base as the main visual cues.2010-10-06Close-up photograph of bare feet resting on an ornate gilded throne or platform. The figure wears flowing saffron-orange robes that fall over the seat. Scattered rose petals and flower petals in white, yellow, red and pink lie on the gold surface around the feet. Beside the feet sits a heap of gold-coloured ornamental bead strands or garland-like jewellery, and a clear glass bowl sits at the right edge. The ritual setting suggests a padapuja, a worship of the feet, though only the feet and robe are visible, so the person cannot be confirmed from the image.2010-08-04August 08 20102010-08-08 +1 copiesSeptember 02 20102010-09-02 +1 copiesAugust 08 20102010-08-08 +1 copiesClose photograph of bare feet resting on a gilded, ornately carved golden platform. This appears to be a padapuja, a ritual washing or honouring of the feet, within the setting of an ashram ritual. No face is visible, so no identity is asserted.2010-08-10 +1 copiesClose-up of a bare foot in a silver tray being worshipped during a padapuja.
