In the centre a seated devotee wearing a white dhoti with a gold border holds a white cloth with a gold border. On the right, a person in a maroon-red robe and layered beaded necklaces reaches forward with a bangle on the wrist. In the foreground are a small silver lion figure and a brass bull figure on a red cloth, with an ornate silver plate at the bottom edge.2017-10-15A seated man in a rust-orange wrap with layered red-beaded necklaces, a gold pendant, a gold earring and long swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate white-and-red throne, extending his right hand in blessing toward the head of a bare-chested devotee in an orange cloth. Behind him stands a bare-chested priest with horizontal white-and-ash forehead markings, a dark rudraksha-style mala and white dhoti. A red and gold parasol with a sun motif and floral embroidery shields the scene. In front, seated men attend a brass and silver puja setup with small vessels, a silver bull figure and a white cloth. The man on the throne shows a person cues: long swept hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron-toned clothing, placed in a seated role receiving devotees.2017-10-15Outdoor evening puja at a ritual table. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-red robe, a braided pinkish-red beaded mala and a heavy gold necklace, rests a hand over a silver puja tray while a second priest in rust-red robes and gold necklace holds his hands near an offering. Behind them stands a shaved-headed priest in ochre robes with a white tilak and a standing crowd. The table holds a white cloth-draped vessel, a brass plate, a silver bowl of pink flowers, silver lamp stands, an oil lamp, incense, and a floral arrangement with marigolds and white blooms. A dark pole stands at left. The lamp light gives the scene a warm glow.2013-05-27October 15 20172017-10-15A ritual scene in a hall with gold-and-floral backdrop. A shaved-headed priest in saffron cloth with a rudraksha mala, spectacles and white tilak marks sits cross-legged holding a broom-like tool and an open book beside silver vessels and a lamp. Behind him a young assistant in white with a rudraksha mala watches. On a gold throne-like seat at right sits a person in an orange turban, red garland and gold necklace, with a gold staff and offerings of flowers and fruit, a kalasha-style vessel and folded cloth on the tray in front. Appearance does not clearly match the a person candidate cues, so the seated figure is described by role only.2015-04-28A seated puja in a large hall with a crowd of devotees behind. In the foreground, a young man in an orange-and-yellow saffron cloth with rudraksha malas and gold bangles sits on a red mat, holding a folded white cloth over brass puja vessels, kalasha-style pots and leaves on a stone low table. Beside him, an older man in white dhoti and shawl, with vibhuti and rudraksha mala, and other priests in white and saffron sit in a row performing the ritual. Brass plates, lamps and small bowls are arranged on the table.2017-01-08April 28 20152015-04-28October 13 20152015-10-13A seated man in a red-orange saffron garment and heavy gold necklaces, with rudraksha malas on his arms and wrists, extends his hand toward a devotee prostrating at his feet on the left. He has long swept-back dark hair, a crown-like adornment, and sits on a red and silver ornate throne with a carved lion-shaped armrest. A standing attendant in a white dhoti with gold border holds a white cloth and rudraksha beads, and another person's hand holds a white cord at right. Red curtains form the backdrop. The scene suggests a seated blessing or darshan.2017-09-24May 09 20122012-05-09September 14 20152015-09-14 +1 copies
