October 15 20172017-10-15May 12 20142014-05-12A night ceremony on a stage at a temple-style setting. A man with long loose hair, a beard, hoop earrings, a rudraksha mala and an ornate gold necklace sits on a red-cushioned silver throne in rust-red robes, one hand resting on a silver base. Beside him, a bare-chested priest with white forehead and body markings, layered beaded malas and white dhoti with gold border holds a folded paper and gestures. A figure in saffron-orange cloth bends forward toward a seated devotee, while another white-clad attendant stands at left. Behind them a red and gold ornamental banner with a sun motif hangs. The scene resembles a satsang or blessing ritual; the seated figure is an appearance-based candidate for a person, given long hair, ornate necklace and rudraksha mala.2017-10-15January 09 20122012-01-09 +1 copiesJanuary 09 20182018-01-09A photo of a close, intimate moment in an ashram setting. A bare-chested man with long dark hair in a low bun, wearing an orange-red cloth over his shoulders and a beaded white-and-silver necklace, reaches toward a younger man in a white shirt with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala. The younger man has his right arm raised and eyes closed. A golden lion-head sculpture stands behind them, with a brass lamp and wooden paneling in the background. Appearance-based probable Swamiji cues are the long swept-back hair, ornate beaded necklace and orange garment, so he is labelled Swamiji (probable) as the figure giving blessing; the recipient is a devotee. Two people are visible.2014-01-19August 30 20142014-08-30A photograph of a ritual blessing inside a room with red curtains and a floral garland backdrop.
