Six young men wade in shallow water in a stone-edged pool, holding hands in a line. All wear white dhoti-style garments with gold-coloured borders and bare upper bodies, some with gold-bordered shawls over the shoulder. Behind them rise tiered stone steps and a wall of terracotta pots holding green plants. Water splashes around their legs as they walk together.

Seven or eight men wear white dhotis with gold borders and some have shaved heads; several hold flowers or small items in their hands. A woman in a white sari with gold border stands at the top, holding a metal tray. On the right, a man in saffron-orange clothing with a rudraksha mala sits beside the group. Behind them, a tiered brick staircase holds rows of terracotta pots with small green plants. A woman in a red sari sits on the upper steps to the left, and a metal railing is at the left edge.

Night-time photograph of a crowd of men and women in white dhotis and saris with orange shawls, standing and sitting around a construction site lit by a tube light. In the foreground a young man in white kneels with hands pressed together in prayer beside a white cloth-draped object and an orange cloth on a stone ledge. A small golden kalasha-shaped vessel stands on a golden base with orange cloth. A wooden pole rises between the people. Several devotees wear orange shawls and rudraksha-free white attire, and a man at right holds a camera.

A photograph of six people walking in a line through shallow water in front of a large black stone structure with a carved lotus-petal rim. Five are male and one is a young person with long dark hair. Each wears a white dhoti and white upper cloth with gold borders, and most are bare-chested. The first and last figures are shaven-headed adults, the others are younger boys. Some hold hands in a chain, and a water spray arcs from the stone structure. Red-painted stone steps and a metal railing stand behind them. The adults show no clear a person cues such as long swept-back hair, crown, saffron robes or rudraksha malas, so no appearance-based candidate is identified.

Outdoor photo of a Shiva lingam being worshipped on a red-brick stepped platform lined with terracotta pots of green plants and many small black lingams. A lingam wrapped in a white cloth is garlanded with yellow marigolds and white flowers, with red flowers and a small silver vessel placed before it. On the left, a priest in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered yellow shawl pours or offers something at the lingam. On the right, a man in a white kurta with glasses stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Two men are visible, the sky is pale, and a metal railing runs along the steps.

A photograph of a large seated gathering of monastic disciples in saffron-orange robes sitting cross-legged on the floor in rows along white mats. Each person has a green banana-leaf plate of rice, fried snacks and vegetables, with small cups and water bottles beside them, indicating a shared meal offering. Several figures have white ash or paint on their arms and foreheads and wear rudraksha beads and bangles. A man in the foreground right with a shaved head and a red shawl over orange robes sits among them. Behind them, rows of seated devotees in white clothes and red shawls face the same direction in a hall with pink walls and a stage area at the back.
