A seated man in a maroon-red turban and saffron-orange shawl, wearing a long rudraksha mala, smiles while handing a small offering to a kneeling man in a white shirt. Before him is a low dark table holding brass or gold-coloured pots and yellow flower or fruit offerings. In the left foreground a woman in white garments with white ash markings on her arms sits with her back partly turned. He wears a rust-orange turban with a large jewelled brooch, a rose-pink robe, and a heavy necklace of golden beads on brown rudraksha-style strands, with orange-red beaded bracelets on his wrists. Behind him is a tall throne backdrop decorated with jewelled embroidery and red, yellow and white flower garlands, beside a brass oil lamp and a gilded lion-shaped armrest. Appearance-based identification is probable for Swamiji given the turban, ornate ceremonial garb and rudraksha-style mala cues, seated as a speaker during a discourse.2016-03-27 +1 copies
