Concrete slabs and greenery line the path.2014-09-02September 02 20172017-09-02Outdoor photograph at dusk of a long line of women standing on bare dirt beside a rocky, tree-covered slope. Many wear saffron-orange sarees or dresses with rudraksha malas, and others wear white kurtas, white sarees with gold borders and white dupattas. Some hold small bags, papers or water containers, and a few look toward the group. A plastic bucket and a concrete basin sit in the foreground.2016-01-16A photograph of a walking procession on a dirt path beside an unfinished concrete building with bamboo scaffolding. A man with long dark swept-back hair, a gold necklace of ornaments, a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, and a forehead mark walks at the centre-right, with a yellow umbrella held over him by a young attendant in a white dhoti and orange sash. Beside him, a bald sannyasi in orange robes with a rudraksha mala walks at left, and an elderly man in white shirt and dhoti walks in front. Children and onlookers stand at right. Swamiji (probable) cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a gold ceremonial necklace on the centre-right walker, who is the umbrella-shaded figure in the procession.2012-09-24A photograph of a crowd of saffron-robed devotees gathered on a paved courtyard outdoors, with trees, brick buildings and a red pillar behind them. Several young women and children wear orange and saffron cloth, rudraksha malas and white vibhuti marks on their foreheads; some have shaved heads. Several hold their hands in anjali namaskar, and one older woman in a white sari stands among them with palms pressed together. A woman in the foreground holds a yellow book. Behind the group, a man in white clothes and a photographer with a camera are visible. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in this frame.2013-07-24
