Annadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits on a gilded throne with red cushions, smiling as he reaches toward a banana leaf meal served on a white-draped table with steel tumblers. In front of him, a man in a grey-blue t-shirt and hairnet bows with palms pressed together. Another person in a hairnet stands at the left edge. The seated figure has short hair and a bindi, and shows distinctive saffron robes and mala cues consistent with a person, presented as the person receiving a devotee's respect at a food offering.2013-09-05September 05 20132013-09-05 +2 copiesA photograph of a seated man with bare upper body and orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and lap, smiling, with a long swept-back hairstyle and a rudraksha mala necklace, on an ornate gold-and-red throne. Floral decorations and a red-draped backdrop frame the scene, and another seated person is partly visible at the right edge.
