Annadhan in 20142014-01-01 +1 copiesPhotograph of three men standing shoulder to shoulder and smiling at the camera in a warmly lit tent or pavilion with red fabric behind them. Each wears a white dhoti-style cloth draped over the upper body, dark rudraksha mala strands across the shoulders, and heavy gold necklaces with ornamental pendants. Each has white vibhuti horizontal bands on the forehead with a red kumkum dot at the centre. The man on the centre has longer swept-back hair and a red thread around his neck; the other two have shorter hair. No identity can be confirmed from appearance, so they are described by role only as devotees or priests in ceremonial dress.2015-09-18A photograph of a shaven-headed priest in a white dhoti with red-striped border and a white upper cloth, wearing a heavy gold bead necklace and a rudraksha mala, with white and red forehead markings. He holds a small glass lamp with a lit flame in his right hand during a ritual. Behind him, another man in an orange-saffron robe and gold bead necklace sits near a microphone stand. Gold-ornamented panels and a red cloth are visible at the right edge, and a lit oil lamp sits at the bottom left.2010-10-19Annadhan in 20142014-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and white upper cloth, with white horizontal tripundra lines on his forehead and a small red dot between them, wearing a dark wooden rudraksha mala. His eyes are closed and he appears absorbed in ritual or meditation, possibly during a puja. A young boy with a white forehead marking and red bindi sits with eyes closed beside him, and a partly visible person in white with yellow-edged cloth stands at the left edge. A gold-framed mirror or frame is visible at the right edge against a pale wall. The man's appearance does not clearly match the page's claim of a person's presence, so he is described by role only.2010-10-10July 14 20172017-07-14A smiling man in the foreground wears a white dhoti-style cloth with gold border, a rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, with his head shaved. Behind him, blurred figures sit in a row; one wears white with gold border and another wears orange robes. The background is a dark red curtain and a pale panel.2011-11-07A photograph of two shaved-headed young men in white dhoti-style garments with red-and-white borders, standing in a wooden-panelled room with shelves behind them. The man in front has a rudraksha mala around his neck, white sacred ash marks across his forehead and a red-and-yellow tilak at the centre. The man behind, slightly blurred, wears a similar white cloth and a rudraksha mala, with white and red markings on his forehead, and smiles at the camera. Neither wears saffron or ornate a person-style cues, so no candidate is identified.2010-10-16Photo of a shaved-headed man in profile wearing white ritual cloth with a gold border over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and white and ash-coloured tilak markings on his forehead and upper arm. He looks to his right with a faint smile. Blurred figures stand behind him, including a person in white and a woman in a brown sari at the right edge, against a warm reddish background with greenery.2011-12-06July 09 20122012-07-09December 06 20112011-12-06Two seated men lead a chant at microphones in a plain hall. The man on the left wears white dhoti and shawl with maroon borders, gold ornaments on his arms and a gold necklace, and presses his palms together with eyes closed. The man on the right wears an orange shawl over orange clothing, a long gold bead necklace with a pendant, and white forehead markings; he holds an open book and keeps his eyes closed in recitation. Both appear in devotional sanctity during a satsang session, with a door and pale wall behind them.2010-12-18
