A photograph inside a home with wall shelves lit from within, displaying small figurines and a red clock. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a white and green flower garland, sits barefoot on a cream sofa while a woman in an orange-and-cream sari bends forward to offer him fruit from a tray. A younger white-clad man with a yellow shawl kneels behind holding the fruit tray, and a woman in a light blue salwar kameez stands at the left edge. The seated man in orange with long hair and a flower garland resembles the Swamiji candidate, a probable match from his saffron clothing, long hair and garland, presented in a devotional house-visit setting.2010-02-17A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes wearing a long garland of yellow and pink flowers, smiling while seated in a wooden chair against a blue curtain decorated with flower strands. A man in a white shirt and an orange-robed attendant stand at left, and a woman in a maroon sari holds a wooden tray near him. A vase of yellow flowers, a red dish and a glass of water sit on a small table. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair and saffron robes with a flower garland, and the page flags him as present, so this is an appearance-based label only.2010-01-19A seated figure in a rust-orange turban and bare-shouldered saffron wrap, wearing a layered orange and white flower garland and orange bangles, smiles while holding a whole orange toward a kneeling man in a white polo shirt and white-framed glasses who presses his palms together. Oranges fill a wooden tray in the foreground. Behind them, women in white and green saris wear beaded necklaces and stand watching in a plain room with a ceiling fan. The appearance of the seated figure, with orange turban, saffron clothing and garland, is consistent with the a person cues, though not certain.2015-06-07May 05 20162016-05-05Indoor photo in a room with orange curtains and a wooden floor. A woman with long dark hair, wearing a red-orange sari with a red-and-white flower garland and gold bangles, sits smiling in a brown upholstered chair with a carved back. Beside her, a bald man in an orange-and-saffron robe with rudraksha and a sandalwood-ornamented arm is seated, receiving offerings; a second man in saffron stands at a small table with a red and white tray. Devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, one with a rudraksha mala, stand behind. A man in white bends forward offering a tray of fruit, apples, and flowers. Total physical people visible: six.2014-06-28July 09 20122012-07-09May 05 20162016-05-05A photograph of a ritual setting in a plain room with a white-curtained window and a tiled floor. A bare-chested man with a rudraksha mala stands at left. An elderly priest in white dhoti and shawl with orange-and-green borders, wearing a green bead necklace, holds out offerings. A young person in an orange robe and a long garland of yellow and red flowers stands centre, hands together and receiving a small green item. A bearded man in orange at right holds a green offering. A steel plate of fruit, including bananas and apples, sits on the floor in front. The scene looks like a puja or blessing ceremony.2008-04-01January 12 20072007-01-12Seated on an ornate golden-brown throne with a golden lion sculpture beside him, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead mark, a pink-and-yellow flower garland, bangles and an orange-saffron cloth smiles and raises his hands in greeting. Around him on the carpet, four devotees sit in a semicircle: a bald man in white with an orange shawl pours or offers from a small vessel, a woman in white with an orange shawl holds a small silver cup with a light-coloured flower tilted toward the seated figure, a woman in white and orange receives a flower, and a man in white with an orange shawl sits at the right. Silver trays hold rows of small oil lamps, a silver plate of offerings and a silver cup, and orange cloth lies on the floor. Ornamental plants and a marble wall form the background.2012-12-11July 25 20092009-07-25A photograph of an indoor room with beige tiled floor and white curtain at the left window. A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robes and a red bindi sits on a cushioned chair, smiling, with a pale white cloth draped over the chair. Beside him a standing man in orange robes with long hair and beard looks down. Two men in white shirts and white dhotis sit or stand near a brass plate of fruit and mango slices and a tray of pink and white flower petals, with a garland of white and pink flowers on the floor. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at right beside a monk in orange robes. Several people in orange robes and white clothing gather for a ritual visit. The scene shows a Bhoomi Puja-style offering of fruit, flowers and garlands.2008-04-01
