A seated woman in a rust-red sari sits on a carved wooden bench at left. Four men stand in the centre and right: three in white dhoti and shirts, one in a saffron-and-brown robe with an orange shawl, and one in white with an ID lanyard at far right. Lamps hang from the ceiling and a red mat lies on the concrete floor. The image is a photograph; the saffron-robed man is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so he is described by role only.2014-08-06A photograph of a room packed with gilded bronze deity murtis arranged on the floor, awaiting packing. Standing figures with raised hands and garments include a tall multi-armed deity murti at centre and an elephant-headed Ganesha murti beside it. Several murtis wear white dhotis, red and blue cloths, and garlands with white flowers. Behind them hangs a dark patterned textile, and shelves along the right wall hold many small brass lamps and figures. In the foreground right, a silver-toned ornate canopy or pedestal stands beside a seated golden murti in orange cloth. Cardboard boxes and wrapping plastic line the left side. A small timestamp reads 12 9:38 at bottom right.A photograph of a Golu display set up in a plain hall with pale walls and a ceiling of square tiles. In the centre, a seated figure of Shiva in meditation pose, with matted hair, rudraksha beads and an upper-arm band, rests on a brown cloth draped over a tiered platform. Surrounding it are many painted clay dolls of deities, figures and animals in bright colours, including Ganesha in orange, a reclining figure, a small shrine with a black deity, and a seated musician. A gold-and-orange cloth covers the floor and table edges. Red-and-orange umbrellas hang above the tiers, and a large screen with a golden shrine image stands at the back.
