The bare-chested man on the left, with a sacred thread, faces a brass plate and small vessels on a woven mat and clasps his hands. Behind them stand a golden seated deity murti in a red and gold crown, a female deity murti in blue and gold garments with a raised hand, and a small lamp on a black-tiled platform. Colourful patterned rugs cover the floor.

A temple puja in progress before a gilded shrine with a large deity murti dressed in green and gold garments and a crown, with flower garlands hanging at the top edge. Three men sit on the floor, shirtless and wearing white dhotis with orange borders. On the left, a man with glasses and a rudraksha mala around his neck leans forward to handle a copper kalasha placed on a wooden tray. In the centre, a bare-backed man in a white dhoti bends over the same tray, and on the right a masked man in a white dhoti kneels nearby. Brass plates, a bell and a small metal vessel rest on a red cloth in front of them, and a smaller deity figure sits on a green-draped stand to the left. The scene shows a puja with a kalasha and a tray of offerings.

Behind them stands a dark deity murti in blue silk with gold crown and ornaments, and a golden kalasha-style figure stands at right. Setting suggests a pooja or aarti ceremony.
