A square brick fire pit with a lit flame sits in the centre, surrounded by flower petals. Around it sit several bare-chested priests in white dhotis and gold-bead garlands, one holding a ladle and offerings. On the right, a bald priest in white with a gold necklace tends brass oil lamps and a plate of offerings near a red-draped seat. Bowls of grains, fruit and dried items lie in front. Two standing figures and seated men are visible in the background. The scene shows a fire ritual with lamps, offerings and a tended fire pit.2010-10-16 +2 copiesJanuary 11 20172017-01-11October 15 20102010-10-15January 28 20182018-01-28 +1 copiesA group of shaved-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit cross-legged on a glossy floor during a ritual. Several hold small oil lamps with flames, while others hold brass bells and kalasha-style brass vessels on a low orange cloth. Some wear rudraksha malas and white sandalwood or vibhuti markings on their foreheads and arms. A young child in an orange shirt sits at the left edge, and an open book and brass plates with offerings lie in front. The setting appears to be a puja or pada puja with lamps and bells.2010-10-12September 09 20162016-09-09
