A photograph of a fire ritual (homa/yagna) in a temple hall. Two shirtless men with rudraksha malas sit before a square brick fire pit with a bright flame. The central man wears a maroon turban, a white dhoti and a striped shawl, and holds a ritual implement over the fire. A younger man beside him sits with a mala. At the right, a man in a white dhoti with a yellow-green cloth bends forward holding a small bell-like vessel. Yellow and orange flower garlands and marigolds surround the pit, and orange-clothed figures stand in the background with a golden ornate structure behind them. The a person-attribution is not visibly supported by appearance.

A homa or yagna is being performed at an outdoor fire pit in a garden courtyard. A man in a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with a yellow border sits cross-legged at the front, sprinkling offerings into the flames, with marigold garlands and a brass oil lamp beside him. Behind him, young men in white dhotis and rudraksha malas sit or stand, one wearing a red turban. A yellow ceremonial table and a small framed painting in orange tones are visible at the left, along with a patterned red rug on the right.

A photograph of a homa fire ritual in a temple-like hall. A shirtless priest in a white dhoti with a green and gold border pours or offers material with a ladle, while an ash-colored bald elder in white sits cross-legged beside a man in an orange-and-gold shawl. A square wooden fire pit with a burning fire and smoke is covered with white flower petals and red blossoms. A standing shirtless attendant in a dhoti watches. A large brass kalasha stands near offerings, and red and white garlands hang on decorated pillars at right. Several seated devotees in white are in the background, some with folded hands. A camera is visible near the back.

A photograph of a homa fire ritual in a brick-walled temple corridor. Fire burns in a square pit built from stacked yellow-brown bricks, with a bright flame rising from the centre. Two sannyasi-like priests in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on a purple and green mat beside the fire; the left one wears a red-orange turban and tends the flames. Behind them, a man bare-chested in a white dhoti with a gold necklace bends forward over a silver tray decorated with pink flowers. Other people in white dhotis and saris stand in the background, and a child in the foreground sits facing the fire. A small brass vessel and oil lamps sit nearby. No identity is asserted for any person.

A photograph of a homa or fire ritual in a temple hall. A large open fire burns in a raised wooden-framed fire pit at the centre-bottom, with smoke rising. A seated priest with a green turban and bare chest, wearing a white dhoti with a striped border, holds a small lamp or offering over the fire. A second priest in a white dhoti stands bent over beside him, holding a lamp. Behind them a woman in an orange-red sari presses her palms together in prayer, and another figure in a red-orange sari stands to the right beside a white-draped table with red flowers. Brass vessels, marigold and yellow flower garlands, and a pile of rice grains sit near the fire pit. Striped red and white pillars and steps frame the background, where other people in white stand watching.
