Rows of devotees in saris, salwar and shirts sit on grey carpet. At centre, a gold-framed shrine holds a deity murti decorated with flower garlands and a kalasha-like finial, with colourful ornamental garlands draped on the surrounding altar. To the left, a standing woman in orange robes speaks or leads the gathering beside a wall of saffron and multicoloured cloth. Brass lamps and an incense or offering stand sit near the shrine, and a tall black speaker stands at far left. A devotee in white dhoti is visible at right. Aside from the standing figure, the scene suggests a satsang or puja gathering.2008-04-27
