A pair of bare feet and the hem of a red-and-white cloth appear at the top-left corner. A large steel pot holds cooked grain and a smaller steel vessel holds chickpeas or similar pulses. Brass kalasha-like vessels are arranged with green leaves and yellow marigolds, and a central metal stand holds a garland of white and pink flowers with mango leaves, red cloth and rose petals. Garlands of white, pink, yellow and red flowers drape over a green-and-gold silk cloth on the right. Only partial feet are visible, so one person is present. The scene suggests offerings prepared for a homa or puja.2006-10-20Photograph of a deity murti adorned with thick garlands of yellow, pink and white flowers, standing before a green cloth backdrop on a wooden floor scattered with petals.
