Behind the altar stand gilded statues of deities in ornate jewelry and garlands, with a golden chariot-style wheel motif behind. A small framed photograph sits on a silver stand at left. The setting appears to be a temple sanctum during puja or abhishekam.2008-05-02A devotee in an orange top and orange dhoti bends forward at the base of a shrine, head lowered toward a seated deity murti draped in a white cloth and ornamented with a silver necklace, flower garlands in red, yellow and purple, and an orange turban-like cloth. Brass oil lamps with bird-shaped tops and a brass kalasha stand on the steps, and an orange upholstered chair sits at left. A gilded arch frames the shrine, with another deity figure behind. The scene suggests darshan at a temple shrine.2010-07-15February 23 20082008-02-23
