A photograph of a long procession of people in white traditional clothes walking along a paved road lined with palm and banana trees. Many participants wear white dhotis and shirts, and some carry or hold items; a red-and-white vehicle or float is visible at the front of the line. Banana plants decorated with strings of flags frame the roadside, and a green signboard in Tamil script stands at right. Children and adults walk barefoot, with one girl in a red shawl near the middle. The scene suggests a ritual or devotional street procession.
