A photograph of an outdoor shrine under a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. In the foreground a man in white dhoti and shawl stands barefoot with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing gold necklaces and a tilak on his forehead. Behind him a second person in white stands in the distance. At right a black stone Shiva lingam with a white-clothed deity murti is draped in a long garland of yellow and red marigold flowers. Before it sit a copper kalasha, oil lamps and small offerings on a low wooden stand, with an orange-red painted rock base and a rangoli kolam on the ground.

A photograph of a large banyan tree with massive spreading limbs and many hanging aerial roots, its trunks wrapped by tangled roots on a bare reddish-brown earth floor. Two men stand at the left edge: one in a white dhoti and white shirt holding a small metal vessel, and a bare-chested man in an orange-saffron dhoti and orange shawl with a white flower garland, raising his hands in prayer toward the branches. Scattered red flowers hang among the leaves. A small blue sign reading SILENCE PLEASE is set near the tree base.

At the centre right, a dark stone deity murti draped in orange cloth sits on a circular platform, in front of a heap of red-orange offerings ringed by a black border with white dots. Several people stand and move around the grounds: a woman in a white and green sari stands at the platform's edge, a woman in a green top and pink skirt stands by a stone enclosure, and a few men in white and light clothing stand near the tree trunk. A small sign reads 'Dhoti please' near the enclosure. Grey paving slabs and sandy ground surround the tree, with pale poles scattered around the grounds.

Outdoors beneath a large ancient banyan tree with dense aerial roots and sprawling branches. A man stands barefoot with palms joined in namaskar, wearing an unstitched white dhoti and a white shawl draped over his shoulders, with a red and white flower garland and a rudraksha-style necklace. Ahead of him is a large mound of bright orange-red stone covered in pigment, beside a small oil lamp and a brass bell on a low stone ledge. Strands of marigold and rose garlands hang on a black shrine figure on the right, and a red rope fence runs along the tree line. A second person in white is partly visible on the far right near the garlanded shrine.

In the foreground, a man in plain white dhoti and shawl stands barefoot with palms pressed together in namaskar, a beaded necklace around his neck. Further back, another person in white stands with hands folded near a pillar. On the right, a black stone deity murti is draped in white cloth and garlanded with yellow marigolds, red and purple flowers, and a green leaf garland. Its base is smeared with bright red pigment, and in front sits a small stone table holding a brass lamp, a bowl and offerings. Sand-coloured ground has white rangoli designs.
