Outdoor photograph of a large crowd gathered beneath a broad banyan tree with thick aerial roots. Most people wear white clothing, including loose white kurtas and white salwar-style outfits; several women have long dark braids. On the left, a man in an orange-saffron garment with a yellow-beaded necklace stands near the crowd. Toward the right, a small group in saffron-orange robes stands together, and a bald man in orange is near the centre-right. A few people stand with hands clasped in front of them. A camera operator on a raised position is visible at the upper right. Some people hold bags with straps.
