Outdoor ritual procession at dusk on bare earth, with a sugarcane stalk at the upper right and a trees-and-red-wall backdrop. Several men in white dhotis with gold borders stand at left holding colourful striped umbrellas aloft over a group of robed people in saffron and orange. In the centre two figures in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas stand before a patterned mat, one holding a brass tray with lamps and offerings while the other holds a ceremonial vessel. A row of devotees in orange and white stands behind, palms pressed together. Stone basins with water sit in the foreground, and a white kolam design is drawn on the ground. The ritual appears to be a procession or puja of devotees.2016-01-16May 19 20082008-05-19December 19 20062006-12-19 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20082008-01-01Outdoor ritual procession under a colourful multi-panelled ceremonial parasol held aloft by a standing attendant in orange robes.
