Low walls of brick and concrete blocks form the foundations of a new building, with piles of sand and gravel and scattered stones on bare red earth. Behind it stands a large domed structure with a red roof and a concrete block building beyond. To the right, a white single-storey building with a corrugated metal roof and a covered porch sits beside green shrubs and a tree. Two or three figures stand near the path, and one person rides a motorcycle along the dirt road. Hills and palm trees line the distant horizon under a pale evening sky.2007-05-21September 22 20092009-09-22A dusty, unpaved construction site under a clear pale sky. Concrete block walls are being built in rows in the foreground, with unfinished stacks of grey blocks at the left edge. Behind them stands a long, low white building with a corrugated roof and several doorways. Tall palm trees and a white water tank rise beside it, with rocky ground beyond. Two or three workers are visible: one in a yellow shirt walking on the left, and others near the building wall, one carrying a load on the shoulder. No ritual, deity or a person depiction is visible.2007-05-17A wide photograph of an ashram construction site on flat, dry red-brown earth. Two unfinished multi-storey concrete-block buildings with exposed frames stand at left, with rebar stacks and gravel piles nearby. In the centre, low white single-storey buildings with a terracotta-tiled roof and a water tank on scaffolding sit beside a grey-roofed shed. Three people in white clothing stand on the dirt path near the centre, and a stray dog walks at left. Rocky outcrops, young trees and a green metal gate frame the foreground, with a grey quarry hill and a line of trees in the background.2007-06-05December 12 20062006-12-12 +1 copiesMay 21 20072007-05-21Outdoor village scene of a rural road and clearing being worked by hand and machinery. Tall coconut palms and young palm saplings line a red-earth path. A yellow excavator-style backhoe loader sits at the right on the dirt road, and a smaller yellow vehicle is at left. Two or three people in white clothing work on the slope; one bends low near the foreground, another stands further back near the houses. Single-storey white and tiled-roof houses, a two-storey building, thatched huts, and rocky outcrops surround the area under a heavy overcast sky.2006-09-30October 06 20062006-10-06May 21 20072007-05-21
