A dense crowd of men and women, mostly in white shirts and white clothing, sits and stands packed together in a white-walled hall, a Kalpataru convention gathering. Many attendees wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces with lanyards. In the far background, a few figures in white stand near a stage with an orange draped backdrop and a projection screen. Ceiling lights and a fan are visible, and a sign on the wall reads a short line of text. Faces in the foreground are clear and individual people are numerous, so the crowd is far beyond a small group.2008-10-04January 03 20162016-01-03A large seated crowd of men fills a hall at a convention, most dressed in white shirts and white dhotis with lanyard ID badges around their necks, many wearing rudraksha malas. Four framed portraits hang along the blue backdrop at the top, showing a bearded figure in white and orange turbans; the portraits are printed images, not people. Some men wear glasses and others have moustaches, and a few wear checked or orange shirts among the white. Decorations of orange and red flowers adorn the backdrop, with round emblems on the wall.2006-12-16January 03 20162016-01-03A large seated audience of devotees fills a covered hall at a satsang, with many people in white and cream clothing and some in saffron, maroon and red saris. Many have palms pressed together in anjali mudra or hands folded in prayer, and several appear to be meditating with eyes closed. Metal railings separate the rows; the crowd extends back toward the rear of the hall, and no speaker or deity is clearly visible in the frame.2016-01-03January 03 20162016-01-03A large seated audience fills a covered hall at a convention, with hundreds of men wearing white shirts and white dhotis, many with lanyard badges, sitting cross-legged on mats and blue sheets. Foreground figures include a man in a pale blue shirt and eyeglasses, and a man in a white shirt holding papers. Along the back wall hang several framed portraits of a bearded, turbaned figure and banners, with a white canopy above. No figure on the stage or near the portraits can be clearly confirmed as the presiding teacher from appearance alone, so the identity is uncertain.2006-12-16December 14 20072007-12-14A large crowd of men seated closely together on the ground at an outdoor assembly, most dressed in white shirts and dhotis, some in colourful checked or striped shirts. Many wear name badges on lanyards. A few wear yellow and red cloths over their shoulders. A stage with white and red drapes and a large sound speaker frames the background, and a blue and white umbrella-like canopy is visible at the upper left. The gathering appears to be a satsang or discourse audience listening attentively, though no a person candidate is clearly visible in this view.2015-07-26A large crowd of men seated closely together under a white tented pavilion, most dressed in white shirts and white mundus. Many wear vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads, and several wear rudraksha or beaded malas around their necks. In the foreground a smiling man with spectacles and a red tilak sits among the audience. Behind them hang banners, including a large portrait of a bearded man in a white turban and a smaller framed portrait, though no candidate for the spiritual leader is visible among the physically present people. The scene looks like a convention or satsang session, with a watermarked archive photo showing devotees seated in rows, many with rudraksha malas and forehead marks. Some attendees stand near the back of the hall, and the setting is a temporary white canopy with draped fabric.2006-12-16A dense crowd of seated devotees fills a whitewashed hall, most men in white shirts and dhotis, some women in saffron, pink and blue saris further back. A large framed picture hangs on the upper right wall, and no single leader is clearly visible at the stage.2008-10-04December 20 20112011-12-20
