February 24 20152015-02-24February 02 20152015-02-02Photo of two monitors in a dark room showing a live video session. The left screen shows a man in a red turban and rust-coloured robe with a rudraksha mala and gold bangles, seated on a red cushioned throne against a gold backdrop, smiling. The right screen is a grid of video tiles of participants from several centres, labelled Redmond WA, Toronto Canada Aadheenam, Seattle Aadheenam, Ohio Aadheenam, Oklahoma Aadheenam, St. Louis Aadheenam, Kuala Lumpur Aadheenam, Phoenix Kanchipuram, Los Angeles Aadheenam, Montclair California and San Jose Aadheenam, with some tiles showing people in saffron and white meditating or seated in shrine rooms. Several people are visible on the screens, but none are physically present in the room.2015-06-18A large wall screen shows a video-conference grid of about fifteen tiles, each a remote satsang location labelled with city names such as Kuala Lumpur Palani Adheenam, Los Angeles Arunachala Peetam, St. Louis Tirumala Adheenam, Toronto Thirumalai Adheenam, San Jose Madurai, Melbourne Tiruvarur, Oman Sivagangai and Redmond USA. Tiles show people seated on rugs, on a peetha and in ashram rooms, some in saffron and maroon robes, one in a white shirt wearing a headset, and a central figure in a red-and-white outfit seated before a green backdrop. Shrines with deity murtis appear in several tiles. Attendees are seen only through the screen.2015-02-24May 12 20152015-05-12May 12 20152015-05-12February 10 20152015-02-10Photograph of two monitors displaying a multi-panel video-conference grid of remote ashram and satsang locations. Panels show small groups of devotees in rooms with shrines, floor mats and framed images. Labels include Los Angeles Arunachala, Toronto Kailasa, Guadeloupe Rameswaram, Ohio Prayag, Nithyananda Nagaram Hyderabad, Seattle Chidambaram, Singapore Singapuram, San Jose Madurai and Bidadi. A framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with a turban hangs in one panel on the right screen. The screens show people on screens only, with no physical people in the room.2013-12-10Photograph of two wall-mounted display screens in a dark room. The left screen shows a grid of video-call tiles of people in home and ashram rooms, labelled with places such as St. Louis-Manchester, Los Angeles Aadheenam, Winnipeg Canada and San Diego. The right screen shows a man in an orange-red turban and saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklaces, seated on a golden throne with red cushions, speaking into a headset microphone. Because he appears on a screen, this is a depiction; the appearance cues are consistent with a person, but the image is small and his features are not verifiable.2015-08-08January 19 20132013-01-19September 22 20122012-09-22Two wall-mounted monitors in a dark room display a video conference grid of many small live feeds from different locations. Each tile shows a group of people seated indoors in homes or centres, labelled with place names such as Los Angeles Aadheenam, St. Louis-Manchester, Morris Plains-NJ, Wellington-New Zealand, Ponca City-Oklahoma, Juarez Mexico, Atlanta, Georgia and Toronto-Canada. Some tiles show people in white and orange clothing seated before a floor cloth or meditation setting. Depicted people are on screens, not physically present, and no in-person candidate is visible.2015-08-16
