Several women in saffron and orange clothing and a man in a white t-shirt with an orange lanyard stand or kneel nearby; the white-shirted man is handing or receiving a yellow cloth from the seated figure's hands. The seated man has distinctive long swept hair and ceremonial gold necklaces, matching the a person appearance cues. Visible people: the seated man, about five others around him.2013-07-09 +1 copiesApril 04 20142014-04-04January 15 20132013-01-15 +1 copiesMay 20 20122012-05-20 +1 copiesA photograph at a night event under strings of colourful lights. In the foreground a smiling man with a shaved head and a red and gold garland of flowers and beads around his neck, wearing a pink and gold silk shawl, reaches toward an ornate gold throne-like seat draped with a large orange-gold silk cloth he is adjusting. A brass incense or kalasha-style vessel and a gold-tipped staff stand beside the seat, with smoke rising. Behind him, several women in white and cream saris and a man in white clothing stand near the stage, and more seated attendees in orange and saffron robes are visible at the right edge. The a person cues (ceremonial gold necklace, garland and shawl) are not sufficiently distinctive to confirm identity, so the central figure is described by role as a devotee adjusting the throne cloth.2016-12-23October 11 20132013-10-11A photograph of a smiling person with a wired headset microphone, wearing a maroon-brown garment with a patterned pink-and-gold shawl and ornate garlands of large yellow flowers and rudraksha-style beads. A man in dark-framed glasses and an orange-red shawl with gold brocade bends forward to offer something with his hands. Older men in white shirts stand nearby, and a red bindi marks the forehead of the smiling figure. Behind them is a decorated ceremonial backdrop with gold and pastel ornamentation and a ceiling canopy.2013-04-04
