A seated audience inside a large hall with red-striped floor mats, attending a satsang-style gathering. In the foreground, several shaved-headed men in white dhoti-style cloth with red borders sit cross-legged, one with hands clasped and a rudraksha mala. A man in a grey shirt sits with arms folded at left, and a young man in a pink shirt with headphones sits center. Behind them rows of red chairs hold more attendees in white, grey and teal shirts, some wearing headphones. A framed deity picture and a wall of framed images appear at the back. Overall a calm, attentive crowd listening to a speaker.2011-10-21December 16 20112011-12-16December 16 20112011-12-16December 28 20112011-12-28November 20 20112011-11-20July 15 20172017-07-15 +1 copiesA large seated congregation sits cross-legged on mats in a hall, many holding small oil lamps or lit wicks, with brass plates of offerings and small bowls on the floor in front of them. Most wear white dhotis, white kurtas or colourful shirts, and many have rudraksha malas and forehead markings. Two shaved-headed priests in white dhotis with sacred threads sit in the front foreground, one with white ash marks on his forehead. Behind them a row of seated devotees faces forward, and a dark screen and a banner with a portrait hang on the back wall. The scene suggests a group puja or aarti with lamps being lit.2011-12-05April 04 20122012-04-04Seated devotees fill the foreground of an evening satsang, most with hands in anjali mudra or pressed together in prayer. A bald man in plain white with a gold-bordered dhoti and sacred thread sits at centre, while a young man in white wears sandalwood tilak and glasses at right. Several boys in striped shirts and white clothes sit in front, a few with eyes closed. Behind them are orange-wood seating and a white-clad man with folded hands. No swami figure is clearly visible in this frame.2011-10-05November 11 20112011-11-11October 27 20112011-10-27January 1st 2013 +1 copies
