August 23 20112011-08-23August 23 20112011-08-23Indoor photo of a long-haired man in a plain white dhoti-style wrap and a tiered orange-brown rudraksha mala, reaching forward to hand something to a younger man in a red and gold brocade shawl over a white shirt and dark vest with a wristwatch. A wicker basket of pineapple and red apples sits on a small black side table with two bottled waters, and a black box and paper sit nearby. A leopard-print cushion and pale green curtains with floral wallpaper form the background. The older man has distinctive long swept hair and rudraksha beads, so he is a person candidate. Two people are present.2011-08-23August 23 20112011-08-23August 23 20112011-08-23Two men stand facing each other in a small room with pale green patterned curtains and a leopard-print chair at left. The man on the left wears a white dhoti-style wrap, a wooden rudraksha-style bead mala, and has long dark hair; he extends a plate holding fruit including a pineapple toward the man on the right. The man on the right wears a white shirt, a dark grey waistcoat, and a red shawl with gold embroidery, and receives the offering with both hands while smiling. Appearance alone does not establish who the man on the left is, so his identity is not asserted.2011-08-23A photograph of two men in a domestic room with pale green curtains and a cream wall. On the left, a man with long, swept-back dark hair wears a white dhoti-style garment draped over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala with a thin orange-red cord, and stands beside a sofa with leopard-print upholstery and orange cushions. He holds a turquoise bowl of fruit, including a pineapple and red apples, and gestures toward the man on the right. On the right, a younger man in white kurta, dark waistcoat and a red-and-gold patterned shawl holds out his hand over a small black side table with fruit and papers, and carries a folded white sheet.2011-08-23Indoor photo in a living room with pale green curtains and a leopard-print sofa with orange cushions. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing a plain white dhoti-style wrap and a rudraksha mala, stands smiling with open hands while speaking. Facing him, a younger man in a white shirt, dark waistcoat and red-and-gold patterned shawl holds a stack of books and a white paper. A side table holds a green basket of fruit including pineapple and apples, and two water bottles.2011-08-23August 23 20112011-08-23A photograph of an indoor room with pale green patterned curtains and a beige sofa with an orange cushion and leopard-print throw. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, a rudraksha mala with a red-brown bead necklace, and a white dhoti with a red-and-gold border extends his hands toward a man in a white kurta and dark vest who is holding a red-and-gold shawl, a basket of fruit with apples and a pineapple, and papers. On the left edge a bald man in a gold-banded watch hands over a book. Water bottles and apples sit on a small wooden side table. The long-haired figure has distinctive hair, a rudraksha necklace and a red-and-gold dhoti border, a compatible appearance candidate for a person, shown in person receiving or greeting visitors.2011-08-23A photograph of two men exchanging a basket of fruit in front of a deep red curtain. On the left, a smiling man with swept-back dark hair and a white tilak on his forehead wears a rust-orange garment with a gold-coloured waist band and a long beaded necklace; he extends the basket with both hands. On the right, a smiling man with short dark hair and a moustache wears an orange-and-purple striped kurta and a gold-green shawl, receiving the basket of apples, oranges and other fruit under clear wrap. Behind them a bald man in orange and a partly visible figure stand near chairs, a water bottle sits on the floor and a small stack of books is held nearby. Whether the figure on the left is a person rests on appearance alone, so identity is uncertain.2014-11-09A photograph of two men in a bright indoor room with a white sofa, wooden floor and white wall panels. On the right, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe sits on the sofa and holds a stack of books, offering one titled with a visible spine label. On the left, a man in a white shirt and jeans sits on a pale yellow chair, leaning forward to accept the book with both hands. A cup of tea, a saucer with snacks, and a water bottle sit on a small side table; a potted plant is at the bottom left. Probable Swamiji (saffron robe, long swept-back hair) is the book-giver seated on the sofa; the other man is a visitor receiving the book.2009-08-16
