The painted board shows a portrait of a man in a white headwrap and beaded necklace, with a red floral garland draped across it. A white board sign with a painted portrait of a man with a light headwrap and garland, and a red-and-yellow flower garland draped across it, is being unveiled; a white cloth hangs from its top edge. In front of the sign, a figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange headwrap wears a long white-and-red flower garland and bends forward in a reverent gesture. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and glasses stands with palms pressed together. A flower-decorated pedestal with pink and white petals lies on the ground at right, and a flagpole stands nearby with buildings in the background.2006-09-17A man in a saffron-orange turban and saffron shawl with a white flower garland stands outdoors on a grassy field with his palms pressed together in greeting, unveiling a painted sign with a white cloth. The sign shows a painted portrait of a man in a white headwrap and a red garland, with a blue-and-white bird emblem, and the Tamil heading ஆனந்தத்துடன் அழைக்கிறோம். A second man in white shirt and a third in white shirt with glasses stand beside him. Behind them are unfinished concrete buildings and a cloudy sky. A portion of the sign mentions Paavai and a location in Tamil. The unveiled figure is Swamiji (probable), identified by his saffron turban and shawl, white and marigold garland, and a garland of red flowers on the sign's portrait; he is unveiling the sign, a role consistent with the page.2006-09-17A photograph of an unveiling at a small indoor space with a blue banner reading Tamil text and a large portrait of a smiling man wearing an orange turban. A bald man in saffron-orange robes stands at left, pulling aside an orange cloth that covers the banner, and a person in white stands at right with hands pressed together in greeting. Below, a white draped seat is decorated with a garland of yellow and orange flowers. Red roses decorate the banner's edges. The portrait on the banner is a printed depiction, not a physical person.2010-09-11Outdoors on a grassy field under an overcast sky, a smiling man in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap stands in front of a roadside-style sign. He wears a white flower garland with a red garland draped over his shoulder, and his arm is extended in greeting. Behind him a man in a white shirt and dark trousers with a lanyard stands beside a tiered cake decorated with flowers. The sign shows an illustrated woman with a white head covering and a Tamil banner reading Dhyana Peedam. Two drummers in white dhotis with drums and a wind instrument stand in the background, and a flagpole rises at right beside a large college building.2006-09-17Outdoor photo of a white-draped table on grass, set up as an altar. A large framed portrait, labelled in Tamil with the sign text2010-11-12September 11 20102010-09-11A man in a white striped shirt and dark trousers stands at an outdoor ritual table, lighting or lifting an oil lamp with a brass kalasha-style vessel and a golden tray nearby, with yellow flowers in front. Beside him is a large printed portrait of a smiling man wearing an orange-saffron turban and orange robes with a red bindi, displayed on a red banner. A green field and trees lie behind, under a colourful cloth canopy. A second man's head is partly visible at the left edge. The printed portrait shows a person in saffron, but the appearance cues are not sufficient to confirm identity, so the a person field is unsure.2010-11-12August 08 20112011-08-08September 11 20102010-09-112010 - Photo Album +3 copies
