October 07 20102010-10-07A seated man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits on an ornate gold throne with red zebra-striped cushions, hands pressed together in namaste and eyes closed. He wears an orange saffron robe with gold borders and a long white garland of flowers with green leaves. In front, a woman in a pink dupatta and white top bends forward holding a lit oil lamp (aarti) to his feet, while a boy in an orange kurta sits beside her watching. Silver vessels, a silver teapot and a bowl sit on a white cloth, and a tray of apples and beads rests on a wooden box at left. This appears to be an aarti/padapuja-style honouring. Swamiji candidate in saffron robes with distinctive long hair and garland cues; identity is an appearance-based probable match.2009-08-13A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold and red throne in an orange sannyasi-style robe with a gold necklace, long swept-back hair and a tilted head, with his bare feet resting on a yellow-orange cloth. Several devotees kneel and sit before him with palms pressed together in namaste: a woman in a purple sari, a shaved-headed boy in a striped shirt, a woman in a grey shawl, an older woman in black with an orange scarf, and a man in white with an orange shawl standing behind. Brass plates of offerings, marigold and flower petals, and white flowers on the throne frame the scene against a red curtain and a pedestal fan. Appearance cues match a person enthroned in a satsang setting, with the title and excerpt indicating a July 22 2012 event.2012-07-22A photograph of a seated puja or satsang scene in a hall with pink walls. On the right, a long-haired man in orange sleeveless robes and a rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed and hands folded on a red-cushioned gold throne; the throne is carved with gilt scrollwork. Probable Swamiji by appearance: long swept-back hair, orange robes and rudraksha mala. Before him, a bald man in white with a rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed, and a woman in a yellow sari with a mala sits beside him. On the left, a woman in a white sari with yellow border holds a mala, and a bald priest in white with tilak speaks into a microphone. Brass trays hold apples, pink lotus flowers and offerings, with a tray of apples on a side table near the throne.2010-09-12A photo of a seated figure on a gold-framed red throne, palms pressed together in namaste, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over the shoulders and a long garland of red roses, yellow marigolds and green leaves. A white vertical forehead mark is visible and long dark hair falls past the shoulders. Several people sit on the floor in front of the throne with hands folded: a bald man in a white dhoti, a woman in a yellow shawl, a man in a striped shirt, and others in white ritual clothes. In the foreground silver plates hold pink flowers, fruit and small bowls, and a wooden box with a pink cushion holds fruit. The setting is a pink-walled hall with a dark curtain behind, consistent with a pada puja, where devotees offer worship at the feet of a guru.2010-09-18January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits eyes closed on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands folded in his lap, a red tilak on his forehead. Around the lower foreground, several women in orange and white attend with silver bowls, plates and flowers, and one hand holds a small cup near his feet during a ritual pada puja. Carved stone pillars and a red-painted grille frame the background. The man in the centre has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, distinctive appearance cues consistent with a Swamiji (probable) candidate seated in a ceremonial role.2010-08-07August 18 20092009-08-18January 01 20082008-01-01October 07 20102010-10-07A seated man with long swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron garment and a dark rudraksha mala, sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions while devotees perform a ritual before him. In the foreground, several women in orange and maroon saris sit on the floor around a tray of silver vessels, bowls and pink flower petals, pouring and offering items. Nearby, a man with a shaved head, white tilak marks and an orange garment sits cross-legged, and other devotees in white and yellow clothes sit in the background. A small wooden side table holds flowers and a vessel, and a dark curtain backs the stage.2010-10-26 +1 copiesOctober 26 20102010-10-26 +1 copies
