A photograph of a crowded narrow passage inside a partly built hall with yellow steel pillars, stacked wooden crates and boards on the left, and a red brick wall on the right. Dozens of devotees walk and gather in a line toward the far end. Foreground figures include a woman in a red and orange saree, a man in a light shawl and dark trousers, a child in a green embroidered outfit, and a man in a blue kurta. Several people in the distance wear bright saris and salwar kameez. Bright tube lights overhead light the scene.

Night-time photograph of a crowded covered walkway with a dirt floor and bright overhead tube lights. In the foreground, a woman in white with dark hair and a man in orange-brown robes with a rudraksha mala walk past, while a man in a white dhoti and shirt and a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala walk toward the camera on the right. Behind them, many devotees in white and saffron-orange clothes move along the aisle, and a stone platform with a dark grey top stands in the background. The scene is blurred from motion.

A crowded warehouse storage area with breeze-block walls, yellow steel posts and fluorescent tube lights overhead. Stacks of rough wooden planks, cardboard boxes and rolled mats fill the back, along with a red wooden cart with spoked wheels and a folded yellow umbrella at right. Many people in mixed clothing crowd the aisles: a man in a pink shirt at left, women in white kurtas with orange shawls, a woman in a multicoloured print dress, a woman in a colourful striped sari, and a young girl in white. Some wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Gold-framed panels lean against the wall at left.

Crowded interior of a concrete-block workshop with bare fluorescent tubes overhead. Many devotees, mostly women in saffron, yellow, red and multicoloured salwar kameez, walk through a wood-strewn space filled with stacked timber, planks and carved gilded panels. A woman in a red blouse wears a rudraksha mala and holds a small object near her waist. A cameraman in white dhoti with gold border films from the left. Several people in white dhotis and shawls stand among the crowd, and a gilded carved arch rests on the left.

Crowded interior of a temple colonnade with tall stone pillars, devotees pressing forward in bright light from an open doorway. Foreground: a young girl with wet hair in a green and yellow sari, and a woman in a black sari with rudraksha mala. A man in white wet clothing and a rudraksha pendant stands at right beside a person in an orange robe. Several devotees wear white or orange clothes, some with hands folded in namaskar. Many people appear damp. A plain description with no visible deity murti or name signage.

A dense crowd walks through a stone temple gateway flanked by tall wooden doors carved with panels, under fluorescent lights. In the centre a bare-chested man with a shaved head and dhoti stands beside a saffron-robed sadhu with a shaved head. Next to them a figure in orange robes wears a long flower garland and a striped headpiece. Men in white shirts and dhotis, a woman in a pink sari, and other devotees surround them.

A crowded interior of a temple corridor with dark stone pillars painted with colourful bands and overhead fluorescent lights. A dense mass of devotees presses against a metal grille on the left. Many men wear white dhotis and shawls with yellow or orange borders, and a few women wear red and yellow saris. A bare-chested man on the left and a man in white near the centre stand among the crowd, while others raise cameras and phones at the upper right. Hands reach toward the grille, and one man holds a folded paper. The image is a photograph, and the scene appears to be a darshan queue at a temple.

A photograph of a dense crowd of women and girls packed behind a white barrier inside a large tented venue with a red carpet aisle at the back. Most wear colourful saris and salwar kameez in pink, orange, green, blue and red, with some children held up in arms and several people holding up mobile phones. In the foreground right, a woman with a long braid wears a white sari with a red border and points toward the crowd. Many women have kumkum and bindi on their foreheads. No clearly identifiable ceremonial figure is visible in the frame.
