January 17 20162016-01-17A smiling man sits on an ornate gold throne with heavily embossed floral and scroll carvings and a large gold halo-like backdrop. He wears a maroon-red turban with a small red tilak mark on his forehead, a maroon-red wrap over his shoulders and an orange-gold cloth at the waist. A thick garland of red beads and white flowers hangs on his chest, with a gold pendant. Gold bangles adorn his wrists and a gold ring is on his finger. Two brass hanging bells frame the throne on either side. Swamiji (probable) is shown as the seated figure, given his turban, saffron-maroon robes, ceremonial gold necklace and throne setting.
