A photograph taken through a stone window opening framed by thick grey granite pillars, looking out over a still water tank. Its reflective surface mirrors a row of two-storey buildings with pitched tiled roofs, a white multi-storey building, and tall coconut palms along the far bank. A small open pavilion and a few parked vehicles are visible on the shore. The sky is pale with clouds reflected in the water. No people are visible in the scene.

Behind it stand single-storey buildings with red-tiled roofs and a gopuram-style temple tower rising at right, with palm trees and green foliage. Palm fronds hang in the upper corners of the frame. No people are visible.

A photograph of an ornate green-painted metal window grille set into a weathered whitewashed concrete wall. The grille has curling scrollwork, vertical spiked bars and wavy horizontal rods. Behind it lies a still pool of green water reflecting low buildings and trees, with small structures and parked vehicles visible across the water. No people are visible.

A green-tinted temple pond at a Kerala shrine complex, with a stone-walled embankment on the left topped by a long corrugated-roof shed. Stone steps on the right descend from a terracotta-tiled pavilion to the water, where a few small figures in light clothing stand near the bottom step. Red-tiled roofs, palm trees and lush foliage frame the scene, and reflections of the buildings and palms ripple across the still water. No identifiable presentation of a person is visible.

A photograph taken through a vehicle window of a wide, grey-green lake under a cloudy sky. Along the far shore stand palm trees and low buildings with terracotta roofs, and a few cattle graze on the grassy bank. Power lines cross the top of the frame and a dark blurred strip of vegetation runs along the bottom edge. Several birds fly over the water.
