April 26 20182018-04-26Close view of a golden deity murti decorated for worship, with a face of polished gold, a vermilion tilak and a red bindu on the forehead, and a gold crown set with diamonds, rubies and a Shiva-linga style ornament. The murti is dressed in green silk with heavy gold and jewelled ornaments, necklaces and armlets, and is surrounded by dense garlands of yellow marigolds, white jasmine and red roses, with green leaves behind. The image shows a decorated deity murti rather than any person, so no one is present.2008-10-02A golden-faced deity murti seated against a dense semicircular backdrop of marigolds and garlands in yellow, orange, red, purple and white. The figure wears a red-brown and orange ornate robe, a layered gold and jewelled necklace set with red and green stones, and a patterned red and orange turban with a jewelled ornament. A red bindi marks the forehead. The silver-coloured hands are raised in abhaya mudra on the left and rest on the right, with a small orange and gold armlet on the upper arm. This is a decorated statue, not a living person, arranged for a festival or utsava display.2013-12-18April 04 20182018-04-04A man seated on a leopard-print cushion in a decorated setting, wearing a golden crown and a rust-brown garment with gold ornaments and a gold chest piece. He wears multiple long garlands of pink and yellow roses and white flowers, with a mala of golden beads and gold bangles on his arms. Behind him hang red velvet drapes, a yellow and red banner with a white bird emblem, and a gold pillar. Flowers draped on chains frame the scene, which appears to be a formal ceremonial occasion.2017-08-13 +1 copiesJuly 22 20132013-07-22April 04 20182018-04-04October 07 20132013-10-07 +1 copiesMay 01 20122012-05-01A bronze statue of a seated figure is heavily decorated for worship.
