He wears rectangular glasses, several strands of rudraksha beads across his chest, and a small pendant necklace, and he looks down at a sheet of white paper held by a second man in an orange-saffron kurta with long dark dreadlocks and a forehead tilak. Behind them a blurred figure wears a red garment and another person has a marked forehead. The setting suggests a spiritual gathering.2016-12-06September 29 20132013-09-29A ritual initiation scene in a temple-like hall. A bare-chested young man in a white dhoti stands with his back to the camera, his head bowed, while a bearded man on the right in an orange-brown robe and long rudraksha mala holds a white thread and touches the young man's head. Two assistants in orange and saffron cloth stand beside the initiate, one with beaded bracelets and rudraksha malas. Behind them is a colourful red, green and gold canopy, and a deity mural is visible at upper left.2017-12-31 +1 copiesClose photo of a person in white ritual clothing with a yellow and gold sash over the chest, wearing a rudraksha mala with a round pendant showing a small portrait. One hand holds another person's hand, which has a small white cotton dressing on the palm and a red mark on the fingertip. A silver bangle is on the wrist and another bangle is visible at the right edge. The image is cropped so no face is visible.2010-09-19January 22 20172017-01-22
