A man in white dhoti and white kurta with an orange shawl stands centrally, raising a lit aarti lamp high with both hands. Around him, seated devotees in white clothes and orange shawls face the lamp, some with brass vessels and oil lamps set on the floor, while others sit along the right side. Hanging garlands and a decorated kalasha-style arrangement frame the scene.2008-01-01July 07 20152015-07-07Night outdoor homa at a covered open-air venue. In the foreground a square yellow-framed fire pit burns brightly with offerings. A woman in reddish-orange clothes and beaded necklaces sits at left, gesturing toward the fire. A standing man in a red-orange dhoti with gold borders, a flower garland and folded hands faces the fire at right, with a silver-framed altar and brass pots nearby. Behind, rows of seated devotees in white and saffron-orange robes watch, and more sit in the background. Brass kalasha pots rest on red rugs beside the fire pit.2014-10-27May 29 20122012-05-29
