A photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered around a long table draped in dark blue cloth, examining an array of silver ritual objects, including a large silver-plated mount or figure with animal head details, silver lamps, bowls, cups and a silver vessel on a red-draped table at right. Two tall silver trishula-style staffs stand at right edge. A man at right wears a rust-red garment with a red shoulder cloth and red armbands, and another man in a white dhoti and shirt stands near the centre. Several women in white, including one in a light-blue striped outfit speaking on a phone, and men in white kurtas and shirts stand among others. Background shows wooden cabinets and horse-head sculptures.2015-02-01February 01 20152015-02-01February 01 20152015-02-01A photograph of a crowd of about 30 people gathered around a display table of ceremonial silver and brass ritual objects, including silver trident-tipped staffs, ornate silver handles and bowls, small oil lamps and pooja vessels on a purple cloth, with red and orange cloths behind. A man in orange-and-red ceremonial dress with bare arms and a sacred thread stands at the right, holding a small object and gesturing as he explains the items to visitors. Most people around the table wear white kurtas, shirts and salwar, and some wear lanyards. A wooden horse figure and cabinets stand in the background.2015-02-01February 01 20152015-02-01Indoor photo of a ritual setting on a concrete floor under bright ceiling lights. A bald man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-banded cloth stands at right, one arm raised, beside a table draped in white holding a silver kalasha-like vessel and a small decorated offering. On the floor in front lie silver-plated deity murti parts and ritual metal objects on an orange cloth. Standing around them are a group of devotees: several men in white shirts and white dhotis, a woman in a bright yellow top, women in maroon saris, and a man in a blue t-shirt with dark trousers facing away. A boy in a beige shirt stands near the left. A man in saffron robes with a gold-banded cloth stands at far left, facing the scene. The setting appears to be a workshop-like hall with cement block walls.2013-10-05February 01 20152015-02-01A photo inside a workshop-like hall showing a long table draped in yellow cloth with gilded lion figures, brass trident-like ritual implements, brass cups and small brass lamps, and dishes of food. Several participants stand around it: a young woman in white with a red-orange shawl and lanyard, a man in white with a red-orange shawl taking a photo with a phone, an older woman in a gold-bordered sari looking at the objects, and a man in white and red-orange shawl at right. Red velvet boxes sit behind the table and carved stone pieces are visible in the background. Whether any figure is a person cannot be determined from appearance.2016-03-31February 01 20152015-02-01A photograph inside a large workshop hall with a corrugated roof, where a crowd stands around a draped table laden with silver ritual vessels, a brass kalasha-style bowl, a small brass deity figure and a red-cloth covered box. In the foreground at left, a man with a shaved head and bare upper body wears an orange-saffron cloth, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and beaded armbands, and gestures with his hands. Beside him a woman in an orange saree with a rudraksha mala stands with her hands clasped. Nearby a man in a red-and-white cloth holds a silver staff, and a cameraman films at left. Men and women in white kurtas and white saris, plus children, watch from the back and right. Silver and brass statues line the shelves in the background, and a red umbrella hangs at upper left. A visible cue for a shaved-headed figure in saffron with rudraksha is present, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2015-02-01July 14 20132013-07-14February 01 20152015-02-01
