A photograph of a large seated meal in a hall with a polished floor. Rows of people sit on the floor on mats and wooden planks, eating from green banana-leaf plates with steel tumblers of water beside them. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis; a woman in a green sari with a yellow shawl sits at right. A person in white with a yellow shawl and white head covering walks down the aisle between the rows, and another figure in white stands at the back near the wall. Coloured woven mats and a wall with a red and yellow painted panel frame the scene.

A large hall with a dark maroon curtain backdrop and draped bunting with elephant motifs. Rows of devotees in white clothes sit on the floor before green banana-leaf plates, many with food served and small paper cups placed along the leaves. A woman in a white sari with a yellow border bends low to serve from a steel bucket, while a man in a cream dhoti and orange shawl carries a silver tray down the aisle. At the far end, a figure in orange sits near a raised seat and a decorated stage. The scene resembles a communal meal at an ashram gathering.

A long indoor hall with polished floors and colourful striped runners laid along the floor. Rows of seated devotees in white clothes eat from banana-leaf-style plates of rice and food, while servers in white kurtas and hairnets bend along the line ladling food from steel pots. A man in a checked white shirt and white hairnet stands at the left edge, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti stands at right. Several more people in white stand and move in the background. This appears to be an annadan-style communal meal service.

Rows of devotees sit cross-legged on red mats facing each other, many in white ritual clothes with orange-bordered shawls and white flower garlands. Before them are banana leaves heaped with rice and yellow offerings, with small steel cups and steel jugs of water placed between the rows. In the foreground a woman in a pale yellow and pink sari with gold bangles watches the camera, while a girl in white sits at the right edge. Standing attendants in white and orange serve the rows along the back of the hall. No a person candidate is visible, so the figures are described by role only.
