In the foreground a bare-chested man in a dark red dhoti wears a thick multicolour flower garland and gold-toned bangles, holding a bundle of flowers. Behind him several men in saffron-orange robes walk along coloured striped mats, one carrying a tray of offerings and another holding a brass lamp. A man in white dhoti and shawl holds a tray and a small brass vessel, and a figure in orange holds a tall pole with a round brass ornament. A red cloth hangs near the centre and a few white-clad people stand in the background among the trees. The scene appears to be a ritual procession with offerings.2017-12-30Outdoor ritual procession beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand on a woven mat near a raised circular platform. The central figure, in orange robes with a white flower garland and a red-tasseled mala, stands with palms pressed together in prayer. Behind him, a man in orange holds a gold-topped staff, and another holds a brass plate of flowers. On the mat in front are brass oil lamps, a small bowl, incense sticks and a plate of offerings, with a red deity murti visible at the right edge. White-painted walls and a stone structure appear in the background. The scene looks like a puja or aarti. The central figure's appearance is consistent with a possible a person identity, but this is uncertain.2008-12-23February 02 20132013-02-02January 01 20062006-01-01December 29 20082008-12-29Outdoor ritual under a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots.
