He wears an orange cloth wrap, a red-and-white garment on his lower body, and an orange head cloth, with white markings on his face. Behind him, seated and lying figures in orange and white clothing and white trousers occupy the ground, and a hand holds a brass plate. The scene suggests a Kumbh Mela gathering, with a worn grey wall in the background.2016-05-21Crowded outdoor gathering of sadhus and sannyasis in orange and saffron robes and yellow turbans seated closely together. In the foreground a bearded ascetic with long matted grey dreadlocks tied in a topknot, wearing red-framed glasses, bare-chested with many rudraksha malas and wrist beads, is holding a small white item to his mouth. Beside him an orange-robed man with a shaved head and tilak sits with his hands in his lap, and a plastic water bottle and a small steel plate rest on the ground. He holds a gold-coloured ceremonial implement and sits beside a large golden bull statue at the left edge, facing a crowd of seated devotees, some in white, in a large hall with a red curtain and a blurred screen behind. Probable Swamiji by appearance cues: the swept-back hair, turban, saffron-orange dress and rudraksha necklaces; the page attributes him to this event. A golden staff stands at the right edge.2016-12-07A photograph of a crowd inside an orange-draped tent. In the centre stands a bearded sadhu in an orange robe and a red turban, with long matted locks falling to his chest and a red shawl draped over one shoulder. He holds a trident (trishul) upright beside him and gazes upward. Around him, devotees in orange vests, white kurtas and a man with folded hands stand close together, with a bare-chested man at right. Orange and patterned fabric hangs from the tent poles behind them.2013-02-08September 15 20152015-09-15 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20152015-09-15February 09 20132013-02-09
