February 09 20132013-02-09February 08 20132013-02-08Crowded satsang tent at a Kumbh Mela setting, with orange and red tent walls and a green carpet. Many seated devotees fill the foreground and middle, including women in white and red saris and men in white dhotis. A bearded sadhu in an orange robe and red turban sits at the centre-right, holding a ceremonial staff topped with a bronze figure and marigold garlands, a rudraksha-style mala visible around his neck. To the right a man in a cream kurta with a yellow lanyard holds a marigold garland. Video cameras on tripods film the gathering, and a banner with photographs hangs in the back. The scene appears to be a public religious gathering.2013-02-11Three sadhus with matted hair and ash-smeared faces sit on red folding chairs at an outdoor gathering. The central figure has white and red tilak lines on his forehead, a long grey beard, layered rudraksha malas across his chest, a red bangle and a wrapped sash. The man on the left wears white cloth and a beaded necklace, and the man on the right, with a long white beard, wears a pink robe and a beaded mala. Behind them devotees in white and saffron clothing and orange turbans fill the background, with an orange banner and yellow rope visible. The crowd is dense and the scene looks like a large camp gathering.2013-02-11A seated group of sadhus and devotees in a hall, most dressed in saffron orange cloth. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a grey beard wears an orange robe and plays a blue tambourine with his left hand while raising his right palm in gesture. To his right, an older bearded man in glasses and an orange wrap plays a small brass hand cymbal. On the left, a bare-chested man in white dhoti plays small hand cymbals. Behind them more orange-clad seated people are visible, and a glass of water sits on a banana leaf in the foreground.2011-01-16A seated figure in a saffron-orange turban and orange robe sits on a brown leather throne in front of a large audience at a satsang. He wears a long rudraksha mala and white markings on his arms, and holds a wooden stick. A silver trident stands beside the throne. The seated audience wears white clothes with orange-red shawls and orange forehead markings. The person on the throne is an appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable): long hair under a turban, rudraksha mala, saffron clothing. Behind them, a white backdrop and a camera on a tripod are visible. Several dozen people are visible in the frame.2015-05-23February 09 20132013-02-09December 30 20092009-12-30January 05 20182018-01-05May 07 20162016-05-07May 21 20162016-05-21A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair sits at the front of a large outdoor gathering, holding a tall silver trident-topped staff in his left hand and pressing his right palm forward in a gesture.
