July 02 20042004-07-02July 02 20042004-07-02A photograph of a ceremony in a temple hall with dark green drapes. A man in orange robes with a matching orange turban and a red-orange shawl sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaskar, a rudraksha-style mala visible at his chest, a microphone before him. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style vessel and flower offerings lie on a yellow-draped platform in front, with a trident and ceremonial fans behind. Behind him a framed portrait labelled "Sri Nithyananda Swami" shows a seated figure in orange robes. Several people sit with their backs to the camera in the foreground, and a bearded man in dark clothes sits at the right edge.2004-07-02March 23 20082008-03-23A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban sits before a low puja platform at night, working with a coconut and offerings in a brass plate. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders, and multiple rudraksha malas hang across the chest. A microphone stands at left. A man in white clothes reaches in from the right to hand over an item, and a brass oil lamp with a lit flame sits in the foreground. Two more people in white are seated in the background behind a wooden ornate chair. Given the page's a person flag and the saffron clothing with rudraksha malas, this is a person in person, performing a puja.2004-07-02July 02 20042004-07-02A seated figure in an orange saffron robe and orange head covering sits before a stone fire pit (homa kund) with bright flames and yellow flower offerings, holding a silver plate and a small bell. A microphone stands nearby. Behind him, two standing men in white kurtas and a seated man in white clothes attend the ritual, with a trident (trishul) and a garlanded deity murti in the background. Probable Swamiji: the figure has long hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, and the page states he conducted the homa, so the appearance-based label applies.2004-07-02A seated man with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala, sitting in a cushioned chair on a raised red-carpeted stage and speaking into a microphone on a stand. Beside him, a bearded man in an orange robe sits cross-legged on a mat. A framed portrait with a flower garland is displayed on an altar-like stand behind them, flanked by brass oil lamps and kalasha pots, with a row of orange-tasselled poles along the back wall. White-clad devotees sit on the floor in the foreground, listening to the discourse at a satsang hall.2008-03-23 +1 copiesA seated man in an ornate gold throne with red cushions receives a ritual, his hands pressed together in namaskar. He wears an orange robe and multiple flower garlands in orange and white, with a white garland draped across his chest. In front, a standing attendant in an orange robe and a long dark braid holds a flame, a lit oil lamp, over offerings of fruit and flowers on a small table. Seated devotees in white and green saris and dhotis, some with hands folded, surround the throne on a carpeted floor beneath a yellow canopy. Golden lion figures flank the throne. The appearance of the seated man in orange and garlands, on a throne with honour, is consistent with the page's identification and gives a probable match, with the cues of orange robe, garlands and ornate throne. A digital screen and a fan sit nearby.2009-11-23Photograph of an outdoor night homa at a fire pit built of orange bricks, with flames rising and offerings of fruit, flowers, brass vessels and a flower-garlanded kalasha. A man in orange robes with a red and gold headwrap sits behind the fire with palms pressed in namaste. Beside him a figure in orange robes, a long-haired man with a tilak on his forehead and gold-beaded rudraksha-style necklaces, sits cross-legged on an orange cloth with hands raised in a teaching gesture, speaking into a microphone on a stand. A large audience in white and mixed clothing fills the background under a dark sky, with a white banner and stage structure behind.2010-02-12July 02 20042004-07-02 +1 copiesJuly 02 20042004-07-02 +1 copies
