A group of young male sannyasis in saffron-orange dhotis and matching orange head cloths stand on a stone-paved courtyard beside a red wall and green trees. Several have bare chests marked with white ash stripes and wear rudraksha malas and beaded bracelets; one has long dreadlocks and another wears a long plaited braid. A young girl in a white dress with a gold border stands among them. An ornate red-and-gold canopy with tasselled fringe hangs at the top left, and a person in the foreground right adjusts an orange head cloth. The scene suggests a ceremonial gathering or procession.2017-08-31 +1 copiesA procession of young men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls walks outdoors past a pink wall. Many boys have white sacred ash or tilak marks on their foreheads and bodies, and some wear rudraksha malas. On the left, a man in a white dhoti with gold borders holds a long staff topped with a ceremonial finial and bracelets, and he is looking at a phone. Behind the line, a flag with ornate embroidery is raised on a pole, and a videographer's camera is visible. A boy at right holds small cymbals or hand bells. The scene appears to be a ritual procession with a pada puja or satsang gathering.2014-08-17Outdoor procession scene with several men in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl clothing, many bare-chested with rudraksha mala necklaces and white sacred markings on their bodies. A smiling shaved-headed man in the centre-left wears an orange shawl draped over one shoulder and a dark rudraksha mala; he appears to be a sannyasi or devotee and his appearance is not a reliable cue for a person. Nearby, a man in an orange shawl with a long braided hair and a gold chain stands beside a truck, and a boy in a pink kurta reaches toward the group. Umbrella-like canopies with purple and gold fabric rise in the background, alongside people in white clothes on the left.2017-01-11October 12 20172017-10-12A group of young boys and teenagers in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls with gold borders dance outdoors beneath palm trees, some with bare upper bodies.
