Night photograph of young boys in red-orange sannyasi-style robes holding two tall brass torches with flames rising high. The boy in front wears a rudraksha mala necklace and has a red tilak on his forehead, with a bare upper body beneath the robe. Other boys stand behind, partly visible in a dark outdoor setting with lamplight and blurred figures in the background.2013-11-21November 21 20132013-11-21Night photograph of an outdoor ritual at a person ashram. A bare-chested young man in an orange turban and orange dhoti, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, holds an object near a flame while looking up. Behind him stands a bearded man in an orange-brown robe, with another man and several women in red and orange robes behind them, one with hands in anjali. A decorated umbrella-like canopy with red, white, yellow and blue fringe stands on a pole at left, and a flame rises at upper right beside colourful string lights. The scene suggests an aarti or fire ritual with the flame as its focus.2018-01-04February 06 20142014-02-06January 02 20192019-01-02April 12 20132013-04-12 +1 copiesDecember 11 20182018-12-11December 27 20182018-12-27May 25 20132013-05-25 +1 copiesNovember 18 20182018-11-18Photograph of a seated ritual in a dim temple hall. A man in a maroon turban with gold border, maroon-and-gold shawl and a large rudraksha mala raises a silver lamp with a flame in his right hand, while other ritual participants in saffron-orange robes with beaded malas sit behind him. Brass bowls holding yellow and white offerings, incense sticks and a lit oil lamp sit in the foreground, and a gold-trimmed cabinet stands in the background.
