Beside him a shirtless man in a green dhoti and white cloth sits cross-legged, and at left a shirtless man in white dhoti with an orange-saffron shawl holds a small offering. On the right, a bare-chested man in white dhoti leans over the fire, and a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red tilak holds a microphone. A brass bowl sits at the pit's edge. The page indicates a person was at this event, but no one is clearly identifiable by appearance, so no candidate is marked as present.2015-07-16Night outdoor homa at a square fire pit lined with yellow stone, with flames rising at the base. A shaved-headed young priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a white tilak and sacred thread holds up a long strand of flame-yellow cloth above the fire, while a second priest in similar saffron-orange clothing and a bare-chested cord-adorned figure nearby assist with offerings. On the left, a standing man wears a long white-and-marigold garland and a maroon-and-gold dhoti, hands folded in anjali. Behind them, a row of men in white dhotis with gold borders stand with palms pressed together, and a seated audience in white and red clothing watches.
