A photograph of a temple hall with a tiled white floor and several devotees seated on cloth mats in the foreground. Women in saris of green, pink and white sit facing ornate golden shrines on either side, one holding a deity murti with a red and white figure and a second with a standing murti in a gold niche. A child in a light outfit sits among the adults. Colourful rangoli-style patterns decorate the floor. Robed figures stand near the shrines; no clearly identifiable a person candidate is visible.2011-09-09 +1 copiesA temple interior with gold-draped curtains and ornate gilded arches framing deity murtis, including a large dark-faced murti of Venkateshwara adorned with garlands and a crown. Several devotees stand and move about the shrine; a man in white dhoti and bare chest stands at right beside a silver lamp stand and a small dark sculpted figure, while a woman in a white sari and a child in red stand nearby. Other people in saris and dhotis, one in a white shawl, walk or stand along the platform. A priest in a white dhoti pours or offers near the murti, with a brass kalasha-like vessel and floral decorations in view. In the centre, a standing figure in orange-saffron robes with long hair stands beside a black Shiva lingam on a raised pedestal. Behind them are several deity murtis decorated with marigold and garland draping, and a golden arched shrine niche. Seated devotees on a grey carpet include a woman in a pink sari holding a brass vessel, a woman in a red sari, a child, and men in white and green shirts. A brass kalasha and oil lamp stand at left. The orange-robed figure's cues are not sufficient for a firm identification, so the identity is marked unsure.2008-05-03A two-panel collage of photographs set in a temple shrine room with white walls and a bright interior. In the upper panel, a man in white dhoti and white shirt stands at left holding a lamp before several deity murtis in decorated alcoves, including a figure in red and gold on the left and a tall standing murti at right. In the lower panel, several women in saris, including one in red and one in green, gather at a shrine with lit lamps and offerings; a man in a white outfit stands among them near a murti in red and gold. The two photos are arranged together as a graphic collage.2011-09-09 +1 copiesJune 12 20102010-06-12Photo inside a temple hall with richly decorated deity murtis framed by floral garlands, gold arches and red-and-gold hangings.
