Devotees seated on the floor in a temple hall facing a shrine during a Meenakshi Tirukalyanam observance. In the foreground, women in saris of red, teal, purple and yellow sit with long braids visible. Behind them a priest in white, bare-shouldered, sits before a golden arched shrine holding a deity murti draped in pink and garlanded with flowers. On the left a large dark deity murti with a crown and blue-and-purple skirt sits on a platform beside a kalasha-like offering garlanded with yellow marigolds. On the right a gold and yellow draped figure sits on a seat. Red curtains and an oil lamp frame the scene.2019-04-22 +1 copiesSeptember 28 20112011-09-28September 28 20112011-09-28May 03 20082008-05-03May 04 20082008-05-04KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 3/1/20222022-03-01Indoor temple scene at a KAILASA centre during a Pradosha abhishekam. In the centre, a standing figure in orange-saffron robes with long hair stands beside a black Shiva lingam on a raised pedestal. Behind them are several deity murtis decorated with marigold and garland draping, and a golden arched shrine niche. Seated devotees on a grey carpet include a woman in a pink sari holding a brass vessel, a woman in a red sari, a child, and men in white and green shirts. A brass kalasha and oil lamp stand at left. The orange-robed figure's cues are not sufficient for a firm identification, so the identity is marked unsure.2008-05-03October 07 20112011-10-07 +1 copiesPhoto 11682565 +1 copiesPhoto 11682274 +1 copiesKAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 10/26/20192019-10-26A photograph of a temple hall with a tiled white floor and several devotees seated on cloth mats in the foreground.
