September 04 20132013-09-04A crowd of devotees mingles under a dark tent with a blue metal support pole and a bright hanging lamp, at what the page describes as an evening event. Most men wear white kurta-style clothes, many with rudraksha or bead malas, and a few women wear green and white saris. In the foreground a smiling man with glasses, a red bindi and a blue lanyard sits facing the camera. At the right edge, a man in white with a large brown rudraksha mala stands partly cropped. Grey silk drapes hang at the back of the tent. No figure in the scene is clearly identifiable as the a person by appearance, so no candidate is marked.2007-01-01December 20 20062006-12-20August 03 20082008-08-03November 27 20092009-11-27October 21 20062006-10-21May 08 20162016-05-08October 21 20062006-10-21 +1 copiesA pooja hall under a thatched canopy at night, with strings of coloured lights overhead. A large crowd of devotees stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Many men wear saffron-orange cloths and rudraksha malas, while a man in white dhoti with a gold-bordered upper cloth stands at the right and a woman in a white sari and bead garland stands in the centre with hands folded. Trays of food offerings and small oil lamps are arranged on the floor in front, and a deity murti sits under a decorated canopy at the right. A printed copyright line appears on the right side of the photo.2017-07-07Night-time outdoor gathering at an ashram with a large crowd of devotees. In the foreground a bare-chested figure with long swept-back dark hair and an orange wrap, holding a microphone, faces the crowd and speaks. Around them many people wear white ritual clothes and orange shawls, with several young girls and children in front. On the right a man in white raises a video camera. A string of lights and a dark tree line appear behind. The figure's appearance matches the page's Swamiji cues (long hair, orange wrap, bare chest), so this is a probable identification with the page's claim of Swamiji present; the figure is a presiding teacher speaking to devotees.2006-10-21Night photograph of a crowd outdoors at a Deepavali celebration, with a standing man in long swept-back dark hair, an orange-saffron dhoti-style wrap with red border and a rudraksha mala, extending his arm toward a small boy in white clothes holding a lit sparkler. Swamiji (probable) is the standing figure in saffron-orange with rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair, matching the page's account of the event. Around them devotees in white and orange garments and saris watch; a young boy in blue kurta and an older man in a checked shirt crouch in front. A dark red wall with a small framed plaque and lights is behind the crowd.2006-10-21 +1 copiesDecember 14 20062006-12-14
