In the foreground, a woman in an orange sari with a red border reaches to take food from a steel plate held by a woman in a yellow and purple sari. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a red-beaded necklace stands near a young man in white. A man in white with a glasses and a white shirt stands at the steel containers, and other men in white dhotis and saffron-yellow cloths are visible at right. The scene shows volunteers serving food, with no clearly identifiable a person figure present.2008-04-13April 13 20082008-04-13April 13 20082008-04-13A photo of a crowded, plainly whitewashed hall with a concrete floor where people gather around a steel rack and tables, apparently for a food or meal service. In the foreground a woman in a yellow and purple sari holds a steel plate, and beside her a man in white dhoti and shirt stands barefoot. A woman in a mustard sari with a red border stands at centre, and a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered pallu and a pendant necklace speaks to a child in white. Others in white dhotis and mixed clothing stand or move through the room. A small sign reads TOKEN on the wall, and a purple bird logo is visible.2008-04-13A photo of a communal kitchen serving line during a convention. In the foreground a woman in an orange sari with a white border holds a steel plate and ladle, serving food from a steel pot. Beside her a younger woman in a white top and clear gloves serves from another pot, wearing a rudraksha-style beaded mala. Behind the counter a standing man wears an orange headwrap, orange robe and beaded mala, and a man in white stands nearby. Other volunteers and people move through the hall, with ceiling fans and tiled walls visible.2006-12-16A crowded indoor hall with a red curtain and a colourful textile banner at the top right. A woman in an orange sleeveless top and a rudraksha mala stands at the right, her hand raised to a devotee's head as if blessing or touching them, with a table of books and rudraksha beads beside her. A young sannyasi in orange robes with a shaved head stands behind her, and a man in a red shirt and glasses stands further right. Devotees in white and orange, many women in saris, crowd around in a seated line at the front. Ceiling fans and a speaker are visible at the back.2008-03-23A healing darshan session in a hall with a red-carpeted floor. An elderly woman in a pink floral sari sits in a wheelchair while a seated figure in saffron robes touches her forehead and holds a small object near her hand. A bald man in saffron and another man in saffron stand nearby, and a woman in a green-yellow embroidered salwar kameez and several men in shirts stand in a line of devotees. A woman in white and orange kneels in the lower right, and a flower-decorated white cloth and offering tray sit at the right edge. A saffron-robed figure in the upper right stands near a flower vase. The seated central figure in saffron may be a person, but appearance cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so this is marked unsure.2008-03-01A crowded indoor corridor with white tiled walls where many women and a few young men are pressed together, some queuing and reaching forward. A woman in the foreground wears an orange-red shawl over a purple blouse, and another in a white sari has a red-and-black mala. A woman at right in a blue-and-white sari holds a metal tray of food near the top. Visible people number roughly twenty.2006-12-14Indoor photo of a food-preparation area in a bright hall with large barred windows. Two men with long dark hair tied back wear white kurtas with saffron-orange shawls and rudraksha malas; one holds a bowl over a steel pot while the other looks on. Behind them, men in white shirts and a bald older man in white stand at the table, which holds a woven basket and a large steel bowl. Some people are partly cropped at the edges, and a purple logo appears in the top-right corner.2007-12-14A large white-roofed hall filled with many women and girls serving food from steel vessels and metal trays along a long steel counter. Most wear white saris with dark borders or white head coverings, while others wear orange, yellow, green and blue saris. Several serving women hold ladles and bowls. Brightly coloured hanging cloth banners with decorative panels hang from the ceiling, and white ceiling fans and tube lights are visible. Seated people and others walking in the crowd fill the floor, consistent with a community meal service.2010-08-19A crowded indoor dining hall with yellow-painted pillars and white walls. Many people, mostly women in saris and salwar, hold steel plates of rice and food while others queue. Several men in white aprons and blue head caps serve from steel vessels. A man in an orange wrap with a rudraksha mala stands near the center, and a bare-chested younger man in orange cloth stands beside him. A framed deity picture sits on a side table near the kitchen counter. A videographer with a camera is visible at left.2012-09-20
