Most wear white saris with dark borders or white head coverings, while others wear orange, yellow, green and blue saris. Several serving women hold ladles and bowls. Brightly coloured hanging cloth banners with decorative panels hang from the ceiling, and white ceiling fans and tube lights are visible. Seated people and others walking in the crowd fill the floor, consistent with a community meal service.2010-08-19A crowded indoor dining hall with pink tiled walls and wooden-framed windows. Many women in saris stand and move in a queue near a counter holding steel vessels and serving pots. In the foreground, a young woman in a white sari with green border and a jasmine-braided plait smiles toward the camera. Beside her, an older woman in yellow and white sari with glasses holds a plate. A woman in a red and gold sari stands at left holding a small container, and another in an orange-bordered white sari stands nearby. No a person candidate is visible; the scene shows volunteers and devotees at a meal service.2006-12-14September 22 20122012-09-22December 14 20062006-12-14Annadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a crowded dining hall during a food-serving line. Many women in white saris and salwar kameez hold steel plates with yellow rice and side dishes covered in plastic wrap. Behind them, more people wait in the hall, and a man in a white shirt at lower right watches. The orange-clad server does not show clear cues for identification, so his identity is left unsure.Annadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copies
