A photograph of a man in an orange turban and saffron shawl, with a large garland of pink roses around his neck, standing with palms pressed together in namaste at what appears to be a temple interior. Beside him stands an older man in a white shirt with a red tilak on his forehead, and a bald man in white is partly visible at left, with orange marigold garlands hanging in the background. The turban and saffron clothing, with rose garland, match the appearance of a sannyasi, and the page labels this a temple inauguration album, though the page marks a person as not present at this event. Identity is therefore uncertain and the central figure is described by role.2009-11-30A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes and a saffron turban, with a red tilak on his forehead and a long rudraksha mala with gold beads hanging around his neck. He sits in an ornately carved wooden armchair with a white cushion, hands pressed together in namaste and a gentle smile. Two standing men in white and light-striped shirts are partly visible at the edges, and greenery forms the background.Outdoor photo of a smiling man in an orange turban and orange draped robe with a long rudraksha mala, walking through a crowd beside a banana plant with green bunches. Behind him, men in white kurtas and white dhotis gather, one older man in a blue shirt, and a man in white with a gold ceremonial necklace and gold-rimmed glasses holds a steel tray of coconuts. Saffron flags flutter on poles against palm trees and a blue sky. A broken coconut half lies on the ground at lower center.2010-02-18January 01 20042004-01-01July 02 20042004-07-02July 02 20042004-07-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a person in an orange saffron wrap and orange turban, bending forward while holding a tall brass ceremonial vessel decorated with a white jasmine garland. A purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2003-07-27December 27 20082008-12-27A smiling man in a saffron-orange turban and matching saffron robes sits on an ornate gilded throne with carved silver-toned scrollwork and a dark velvet backdrop. He wears a long multicoloured garland of white, yellow and purple flowers over a black rudraksha mala, and rests one hand on his lap. His long dark hair falls to his shoulders above the saffron cloth. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), given the saffron robes, turban, long hair, rudraksha mala and flower garland. The frame includes a faded purple bird logo at upper left and a copyright line at lower right.Photograph of a man in an orange saffron turban and orange robes bending forward at an indoor event, wearing a white jasmine garland. He is leaning toward a tall brass vessel with a curved golden spout, its neck wrapped in white flower garlands. Beside him, a woman in a dark blue sari with red and gold border stands with bangles, and behind them a crowd of men and women in shirts and glasses looks on. In the lower right, a green and gold silk cloth with a white-and-gold border covers a table or seat. The scene suggests a ritual offering or welcome ceremony.2003-07-27A smiling man in a rust-orange turban and orange sannyasi robes stands centre-frame, holding a tall silver staff with a twisted pattern. He wears a long brown rudraksha mala around his neck and has a dark tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a man in peach-coloured robes with rudraksha beads and a yellow tilak looks on, and to the right a man in white dhoti holds a long red pole. The background shows blurred ornate temple decorations in gold and red. Appearance-based cues (orange turban, rudraksha mala, silver staff) are consistent with a person presence, but identity is uncertain.2016-05-05July 27 20082008-07-27
