A photograph of a ritual at a temple. A man in an orange saffron shawl and orange garment with a long ornate gold chain-style necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste, his body and forehead smeared with white sacred ash or paste. Beside him, a bearded man in orange robes wearing a gold necklace and rudraksha-style bead mala stands with eyes lowered. In the lower right, a white-draped deity murti or abhishekam stone is garlanded with white flowers and red blossoms. Pale temple stonework and a corrugated roof form the backdrop.

A man in orange saffron robes walks outdoors, head bowed and smiling, wearing a white turban edged with gold and studded with small stones. He wears a long white jasmine garland with red flower accents, a heavy gold necklace of bead links with a central temple-shaped pendant, a thin gold chain with a small bead pendant, and rudraksha-style tassels at the turban side. Gold armband visible on his upper arm. Behind him, other people in orange robes and gold necklaces stand in a crowd with a blurred balloon and a wooden pole in view. The setting appears to be a festival procession.

In the foreground, a long-haired man with a gold headband and red bindi wears an orange wrap over a red garment, with a multi-strand necklace of white and red flower garlands and a gold beaded mala. He smiles and extends his hand toward a young girl in pink, who is held in front by a man in white with an orange shawl. Behind them, devotees in white and orange shawls stand near a peacock-feather fan with a red sunburst disc and a brass lamp stand. Palm trees and a pale building form the backdrop.

Outdoor festival scene under a bright sky with a red and gold parasol at the left edge. A central figure in an orange saffron garment wears a long red flower garland with a yellow flower tassel, a gold bead necklace, and a red bindi; the figure smiles while adjusting the garland. Nearby, a bald man in orange robes with a white flower garland stands at left, a man in white with a pink cloth is behind, and on the right a man in white with a yellow shawl and glasses presses his palms together in greeting. Several other devotees in white and orange stand around, and a woman is partly visible at the lower right. Two people in the foreground hold white and red flowers. Whether the central figure is a person is uncertain from appearance alone, so the identity is not stated.
